The merit of these hundred and eight names of Shyamala described here,
Whoever recites with devotion is freed from all sins.
He becomes the great lord of Vagishvara (lord of speech) having mastered all scriptures,
Merely by listening once, he attains the four goals and the secret knowledge.
He subjugates all worlds with desire,
He becomes equal to Vishnu,
He obtains great Lakshmi (prosperity) difficult to obtain even for gods.
He obtains the eight powers (anima, etc.) quickly indeed,
He quickly becomes famous, he becomes the repository of all learning.
He attains supreme knowledge,
He always enjoys happiness,
He is worshipped everywhere,
He is victorious everywhere.
Fear of ghosts, spirits, and Pisachas does not arise for him,
He obtains great fame,
He attains the supreme yoga.
He becomes the master of the eight siddhis beginning with ghatika and paduka,
He is ever-auspicious, he becomes a great scholar.
He obtains long life,
He becomes a bewilderer of the world,
He obtains the great form of Mahadeva,

व्याचष्टे सर्वशास्त्राणि महावागीश्वरो भवेत् |
सकृच्छ्रवणमात्रेण गुह्याद्द्वे च चतुष्टयम् || २५ ||
सर्वलोकान् वशीकुर्यात् कान्त्या विष्णुसमो भवेत् |
लभते महतीं लक्ष्मीं दैवतैरतिदुर्लभाम् || २६ ||
अणिमादिगुणैश्वर्यं स लभेच्छीघ्रमेव हि |
जातिस्मृतिर्भवेच्छीघ्रं सर्वविद्यानिधिर्भवेत् || २७ ||
