Arise, arise, O Shambho! This is your auspicious morning.

Making a sound like the rumbling of clouds,
The peacock creates nectar (with its dance),
Arise, arise, O Shambho! This is your auspicious morning.
(3) The sages, having resolved to come forward to praise you,
Who are the sole friend of the worlds,
With hands joined in reverence, facing the east,
Arise, arise, O Shambho! This is your auspicious morning.
(4) With the resounding sound of Vedic mantras chanted by Brahma and other gods,
With the jingling of jewel-adorned guardians of the directions,
Arising with the tumultuous sounds from all directions,
Arise, arise, O Shambho! This is your auspicious morning.
(5) With the clouds shining dark like elephant skin,
Hanging over the mountain,
Which always serves as clothing for Hari as well,
Arise, arise, O Shambho! This is your auspicious morning.

With cool rays of light from the rising sun,
Displays your beautiful bodily splendor,
Arise, arise, O Shambho! This is your auspicious morning.
