Sri Krishna Suprabhatam

kaurusumbhaur-bhāsura-sahasraiḥ-maṇḍalī-kṛta-bhāskaraḥ |
prabhāte karuṇā-pūrṇaḥ sa kṛṣṇaḥ keśavaḥ prabhuḥ || 1 ||

veṇu-nāda-su-śobhā-dhyo ramaṇīya-pura-vāsinā |
gopāla-pautra-sundreṇa gokule sukhadaḥ śubhaḥ || 2 ||

nandana-nandana-bhānau ca murālī-dhara-vapuṣmani |
yaśodā-nandana-nandanaḥ syāt-prātaḥ smaraṇād-bhave || 3 ||

yādu-kula-pradīpena candrānena rāghava |
prabhāte śrī-kṛṣṇen-uccaiḥ svapitā bhavatāṃ yadi || 4 ||

govindo gopālo venumān murālī-dharo rasikaḥ |
Yadunando balabhadro devakī-nandano hariḥ || 5 ||

śrī-vatsa-cihna-candracūḍena bhāskara |
vandā'haṃ śaśi-vadane na murālī-dhara-pūrvakaiḥ || 6 || |

mādhavo mādhavo venumān gopī-jana-vallabhaḥ |
prabhāte navanīto'pi keśavaḥ kṛṣṇa eva ca || 7 ||

rādhā-vallabho rasa-rājo gokula-nāyako hariḥ |
prabhāte puṣpa-mālābhiḥ sampūjīto mama-īśvaraḥ || 8 ||

yaśodā-sūtaḥ soma-śreṣṭho vṛṣabhānuḥ kālindinaḥ |
prabhāte svapna-vimukto'yaṃ kṛṣṇaḥ sānandam-āgataḥ || 9 ||

murālī-karāla-vadano murālī-ninādakaḥ sudhīḥ |
prabhāte sarva-guṇaiḥ pūrṇo mādhavo mādhavo bhavet || 10 ||

English Translation

(1) In the morning, Lord Krishna, the Lord, full of compassion,
Shines with the radiance of a thousand suns illuminating the lotus flower.

(2) Adorned with the beautiful sound of the flute, residing in the delightful city,
Beautiful grandson of the cowherds, granting happiness in Gokula, the auspicious one.

(3) May the source of joy for Nanda, the wearer of the garland,
The beautiful one bearing the flute, become the delight of Yashoda through morning remembrance.

(4) O Raghava, with the moon-like face, lamp of the Yadu clan,
If you have been awakened at dawn by Lord Krishna with loud sound...

(5) Govinda, the protector of cows, bearer of the flute,
Holder of the flute, the connoisseur, delight of the Yadus,
Brother of Balarama, son of Devaki, Hari.

(6) I bow to Him, the moon-faced one, marked with the Srivatsa symbol,
Adorned with the moon crest, accompanied by the flute-bearer.

(7) Madhava, bearer of the flute, beloved of the cowherd women,
At dawn, the ever-fresh one, Kesava, and Krishna indeed.

(8) Beloved of Radha, king of rasa, lord of Gokula, Hari,
At dawn worshipped by me with flower garlands, my Lord.

(9) Son of Yashoda, excellent among the wise, husband of Revati,
Lord of Kalindi, awakened from sleep, Krishna has come joyfully.

(10) With face beautiful like a flute, maker of flute sounds, the wise one,
At dawn filled with all virtues, may Madhava become manifest.

कौसुम्भौर्भासुरसहस्रैर्मण्डलीकृतभास्करः ।
प्रभाते करुणापूर्णः स कृष्णः केशवः प्रभुः ॥ १॥

वेणुनादसुशोभाढ्यो रमणीयपुरवासिना ।
गोपालपौत्रसुन्दरेण गोकुले सुखदः शुभः ॥ २॥

नन्दनन्दनभानौ च मुरलीधरवपुष्मिनि ।
यशोदानन्दनन्दनः स्यात्प्रातः स्मरणाद्भवे ॥ ३॥

यादुकुलप्रदीपेन चन्द्राननेन राघव ।
प्रभाते श्रीकृष्णेनोच्चैः स्वपिता भवतां यदि ॥ ४॥

गोविन्दो गोपालो वेणुमान् मुरलीधरो रसिकः ।
यदुनन्दो बलभद्रो देवकीनन्दनो हरिः ॥ ५॥

श्रीवत्सङ्कितचिह्नेन चन्द्रचूडेन भास्कर ।
वन्देऽहं शशिवदनेन मुरलीधरपूर्वकैः ॥ ६॥

माधवो माधवो वेणुवान् गोपीजनवल्लभः ।
प्रभाते नवनीतोऽपि केशवः कृष्ण एव च ॥ ७॥

राधावल्लभो रसराजो गोकुलनायको हरिः ।
प्रभाते पुष्पमालाभिः सम्पूजितो ममेश्वरः ॥ ८॥

यशोदासुतः सोमश्रेष्ठो वृष्भानुः कालिन्दिनः ।
प्रभाते स्वप्नविमुक्तोऽयं कृष्णः सानन्दमागतः ॥ ९॥

मुरलीकरालवदनो मुरलीनिनादकः सुधीः ।
प्रभाते सर्वगुणैः पूर्णो माधवो माधवो भवेत् ॥ १०॥
